For Engineers Generally speaking these wheels are aren’t commonly used for engineering. However they will work on non jewellery metals for imparting a matt texture almost like shot blasting. they would be really good for decorative parts, models, sculptures etc. Would work on soft metals such as aluminium, pewter, brass, copper – note that some metals will be more effective than others. Pendant frosting wheels For Jewellers Ideal for metal, in particular Gold and Silver. Used to give metal an even satin finish that has a nice depth therefore it wears a little less quickly than abrasive nylon satin finishes.
