Lelie van Saron Chardonnay

The grapes are sourced from the Bosman Hermanus property, Debos, at the foothills of the Babylonstoren mountain. The Chardonnay grapes come from a single vineyard block. It is 1ha in size and yields 5.5ton/ha on a good year. The vineyard is dry land farmed and the vines are planted in a high density fashion with 6667 vines per ha, which results in smaller bunches and more concentrated and complex wine.
