Description This neat little adapter converts a DIL-8 into a standard-spaced DIP-8 format (i.e. two rows of SIL) in a very compact layout. Ideal for modules like ESP-01. In essence, it spreads the spacing of tricky DIL connectors into an easier-to-use layout. Perfect to mount such modules onto Breadboard. And because it has an offset design, it doesn’t require any more room with ESP-01 because it sits underneath the ESP-01 module! Supplied in a pack of TWO Usually it’s quite tricky to mount a (dual row) DIL 2.54mm header onto a breadboard or prototype board. This PCB converts a dual row DIL into a 2 rows of SIL , i.e into a standard DIP-8 format so it works in a breadboard. It’s ideal for converting DIL header spacing onto a breadboard. Or when making a circuit on a matrix or prototype board when you have a module with a DIL header. An example of a project might be to mount an ESP-01, or perhaps to adapt a DIL header connector to SIL for ease of soldering. You don’t need to use all 8 pins… The pins are mapped 1⇒1 up to 8⇒8.
