Brass Scratch-Brushing Wire Wheels

Brass Wheels Brass Wheels are made entirely of fine crimped brass wire. A non-tufted type, constructed to provide an even spread of wire. With a substantial wooden core which can be used with a taper or drilled out for a parallel shaft. Used with a bench polisher/grinder either on a tapered spindle or on a parallel shaft. Must be used with detergent and water to avoid a brass build up on the metal surface, particularly on silver. Used by platers and metal finishers for surface cleaning and texturing. Used by Jewellers and Silversmiths commonly but particularly suits soft non-ferrous metals.
