For Engineers The hook and loop backing makes these pads adaptable for use with hook and loop holders (sticks, pads, blocks etc). Good for initial finishing, they are fairly coarse grits suitable for getting metal ready for polishing. Suitable for all metals, plastics and wood. For Jewellers A really popular use for these pads is for silver clay, finishing before and after firing. The flexibility and foam backing makes them very gentle to use. They can be easily cut down to size. The coarser grits are good for initial finishing. They will then need to be followed up by wet and dry etc for a fine finish.
