Cotton Ring Buffs Cotton Ring Buffs are used for the final finishing of inside rings, cuffs etc Commonly used by the jewellery trade, they are a real staple in any workshop. Useful for all precious metals including Gold, Silver and Platinum. We recommend using them for the final stage with finishing compound such as Rouge, although other compounds work very well such as Menzerna, Luxi or Dialux. The soft cotton material doesn’t leave any scratches or swirling. However if it gets dirty or the wrong compound gets onto the buff small swirls and scratches may occur. We recommend keeping the buff in a sealed bag when not in use to keep it clean. They fit straight onto a tapered spindle of a bench polisher. The wooden part simply screws on, then the buff tightens once spinning.
