These discs are make of a flexible terylene resilient material, through which a diamond abrasive is electroplated with nickel. The material is cool running but to obtain maximum life use with a wet lubricant. Diamond is the hardest abrasvie and threrfore it removed stock fast and retains its speed of cutting throughout its working life. The discs are available in several diameters 12, 20,25, 30, 50mm diameter and a range of grits: Grits and Micron Sizes: Green: 60/80 grit – 250 Micron Black: 120 grit – 125 Micron Red: 200 grit – 74 Micron Yellow: 400 grit – 30/40 Micron White: 800 grit – 15/30 Micron Blue: 1500 grit – 6/12 Micron
