Bias Mops Bias Mops made from abrasive nylon. These non-woven abrasive nylon mops are pleated, which means that extra air is pulled in keeping the surface cool. They are used by anyone who would normally use a lap disc mop, to combat the issue of the material melting at higher speeds. At 8” or above running at 3,000 RPM the mop material tends to get too hot and melt. The extra air helps to keep the material running cool, thus you can select a larger size. Either 8” or 10” are therefore available. Choose from, very Fine A, Fine A, Medium A or Coarse A.
