Super Lapping Sticks Super lapping sticks are excellent for lapping and polishing with lapping paste or diamond compound. Available in sizes to fit ceramic stone holders, ideal for use by hand or with a reciprocator such as a Diprofil. Use with lapping pastes such as Ultralap, Clover or diamond compound. Made from resin treated, laminated and compressed hardwood therefore these sticks don’t scratch or splinter. Generally used for mould tool polishing where a small size is needed to get into ribs etc. Where other woods generally bench and splinter, the super sticks stand up better to this type of work. Super sticks, much like hard lapping sticks cut faster with diamond compound.
