A large 8″ Kevlar aramid fiber woofer offers enhanced low-end response for a fuller sound and immersive audio setups. Bi-amped and sporting up to 201W of Class-D amplification, the ROKIT 8 G5 has more than enough juice to provide an accurate transient response and dynamic reproduction of audio material without overworking the drivers. The ROKIT 8 G5 includes a magnetically affixed faceplate, an acoustic foam wedge isolation pad, and a power cord. Redesigned Driver System Like the G4, the ROKIT 8 G5 sports a woven Kevlar aramid fiber cone woofer for superior damping and modal breakup control. Unlike the G4, the G5 now features a tweeter that benefits from a highly damped acoustic silk dome diaphragm to smoothly extend the frequency range up to 40 kHz. For maximum transient response and dynamics reproduction, bi-amplified Class-D power amplifiers drive the transducers evenly and more efficiently at reduced operating temperatures to ensure audio integrity during long work sessions. Integrated Mounting Points The ROKIT G5 monitor includes integrated mounting points on the bottom of the enclosure. These mounting points are used with KRK mounting brackets, available as a separate purchase, or with other brands of mounting brackets that have the same hole mount pattern. Mounting your ROKIT G5 monitors is ideal for retrofitted Dolby ATMOS and immersive audio studios. Faceplates and Protective Grille Faceplates The ROKIT G5 monitor comes with its protective grille faceplate installed. This faceplate not only looks great but is there to protect the monitor drivers from any advertent finger pokes or accidental bumps. The ROKIT G5 monitor also comes with a nonprotective faceplate that can be used if there is no danger of your monitor drivers being damaged or if you prefer the look of the ROKIT G5 without the protective grille. Both are magnetically attached for convenience.
