RODA Unitized Points – For deburring and cleaning metal

Mounted Unitized Points Mounted Unitized Points are made from a baked and compressed abrasive nylon material. This material is very good for at line and mark removal, the material cuts quickly Available on a 6mm, 3mm and 2.35mm (3/32″) spindle. Therefore they are ideal for use in precision tools such as micromotors, pendant motors, air tools, hobby tools etc. There are more size options on a 3mm spindle because it is more commonly used in engineering. 3/32” points are generally used by our jewellery customers. Unitized wheels and points are popular in a wide range of industries. Our customers are involved in mould tool polishing, precision engineering, jewellery, watchmaking, fabrication, sculpture etc. Unitized material is used to smooth, deburr, remove spues, remove machine lines etc..Points are particularly good for working inside bores including rings. It work well on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals although it behaves differently on each the finish is always bright and easy to polish up from. Aluminium- Good for machine line removal, light and heavy marks and burrs. They leave a good finish with no pick up. Stainless Steels- They clean up light marks & stains in one hit, leaving a good finish.   Grades: Fine (Black – SF): Made from SF material – Softer than standard unitized with a fine grit. Ideal for surface improvement and fine grinding work on softer metals. Medium (Red – Standard): Made from standard unitized material, offering strong cut and a smooth finish. Coarse (Blue – Vortex): Made from Norton Vortex material – a high-performance engineered grain, similar to ceramic. Higher quality grains make this a premium version of standard unitized material – it’s also a little bit softer than standard unitized, making it slightly more forgiving while maintaining coarseness.   Mounted Unitzed wheels are also available.   For Jewellers Unitized material is quick cutting on soft metals. It is useful in point form for smoothing the inside of rings.  Very good for rough castings that need a fair amount of smoothing.
