It has a modern, relaxed fit, with a flattering V neckline, drop shoulders, four sleeve styles and two hemlines to choose from. The perfect introduction to sewing a top on a regular sewing machine with the option to use the overlocker if you prefer.Make your own ‘Samara’ Top using the Tilly and the Buttons pattern on this one day workshop learning how to sew a neckline with a facing, understitching, using the overlocker to finish your seams, hems and elasticated sleeves (optional).This top is made up on display in the shop if you’d like to see it. (Size 5)Pattern size: 6-34 Some sewing experience is needed for this workshop (ie: you need to know how to use a sewing machine).You will need to provide your own materials and tools for this class but sewing machines and patterns are provided. Once you have booked you will be emailed a list of materials and tools needed for this workshop. You will also need to cut out all you fabric pieces before the class so we can concentrate on the sewing during the class. (There are only five pieces to cut out for this top!) If you need help doing this in the shop before hand, then please ask.
